Day 2 – Antarctic Sound, Antarctica

Date: Friday, February 20 Excursions: 2 The Antarctic Sound marks your first dramatic entrance into the Antarctic Peninsula. This icy channel is famous for massive tabular icebergs that break away from the Larsen Ice Shelf. Witness colonies of Gentoo penguins, graceful cape petrels, and other polar wildlife as you sail through this spectacular white wilderness.

Visit research stations and observe thousands of penguins thriving in their natural habitat.

Day 4 – Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctica

Date: Sunday, February 22 Excursions: 2 Continue your journey through this pristine frontier. Glide past blue-hued glaciers, dramatic fjords, and vast ice shelves. Wildlife sightings continue abundantly—penguin colonies, seals resting on ice floes, and seabirds sweeping overhead.

DAY 05

Day 5 – Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctica

Date: Monday, February 23 Excursions: 2 Your exploration deepens with more landings and Zodiac adventures (depending on weather). Witness extraordinary geological formations and immerse yourself in the stillness of Antarctica’s frozen realm. A perfect day for photography and unforgettable natural encounters.

DAY 06

Day 6 – South Shetland Islands, Antarctica

A dramatic island chain just off the Antarctic Peninsula, the South Shetland Islands are home to research bases, elephant seals, and bustling penguin colonies. Sail into Deception Island’s immense volcanic caldera, hike surreal black-sand beaches, and, if conditions allow, experience geothermal warmth at Pendulum Cove. This region also holds legendary status in Antarctic exploration history—Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance crew survived an Antarctic winter on Elephant Island in 1916.

DAY 07

Day 7 – King George Island, Antarctica (Return)

Your expedition returns to King George Island, completing your journey across Antarctica’s most inspiring landscapes. This ice-covered island once again greets you with its thriving wildlife and international scientific community before you disembark.
