Breathtaking Bhutan

Arrive Paro By Air and Transfer To Thimphu: On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be met by our representative and drive to Thimphu (2,280Mts)17. Check-in at the hotel and relax18.

DAY 02

Thimphu Sightseeing

Thimphu Sightseeing: After breakfast, drive to visit Buddha Dordenma (51.5m statue)20. Then visit Takin Preserve (Bhutan's national animal)21. Continue to Sangaygang viewpoint22. Before lunch, drive past King's Memorial Chorten23. After lunch, visit Trashichhoedzong (center of government and religion)24. Spend the evening strolling through the local market and crafts bazaar25

DAY 03

Thimphu - Punakha (75 Km, 3 Hrs Approx):

Thimphu - Punakha (75 Km, 3 Hrs Approx): After breakfast, check out and drive to Punakha with an en-route halt at Dochula Pass to admire the Chorten, Mani wall, and prayer flags27. On arrival, check in, and later visit Punakha Dzong (at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers)28. Later, pass through the Punakha Suspension Bridge (over 160 meters above the Po Chhu River)29.

DAY 04

Punakha - Paro (125 Kms, 4hr Drive):

Punakha - Paro (125 Kms, 4hr Drive): After breakfast, proceed to Paro31. The Paro valley is one of the widest valleys, covered in fertile rice fields and a beautiful river32. On arrival, proceed to a local farm for Farmhouse activities (archery, local dress wearing, and local Bhutanese lunch)33. Later visit Rinpung Dzong and Ta-Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan)34. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay35.

DAY 05

Paro: Tiger's Nest Hike:

In the morning, hike to Tiger's Nest Temple (Paro Taktsang), which hangs on a granite cliff 900m above the valley floor37. The hike is a 2-hour walk uphill for an average hiker and can take almost the entire day38. Evening back to the hotel and relax39.

DAY 06

Paro: Tiger's Nest Hike

In the morning, hike to Tiger's Nest Temple (Paro Taktsang), which hangs on a granite cliff 900m above the valley floor37. The hike is a 2-hour walk uphill for an average hiker and can take almost the entire day38. Evening back to the hotel and relax39.

DAY 07

Depart Paro:

Day 6 Depart Paro: After early breakfast, drive to the airport for the flight to your onward destination41. Our representative will help with exit formalities and bid you farewell42. Breakfast 43
